Epanchintseva Olga Vladimirovna, born 11 October 1973, in the city of Sverdlovsk (4 September 1991 the city of Sverdlovsk regained its historical name Yekaterinburg), Sverdlovsk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from the Ural Forest Engineering Institute (at the present time – Ural State Forest Engineering University), Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Institute of Forest and Nature Management), with a specialty in Forest and Forest-Park Management, qualification Engineer of Forest and Forest-Park Management, in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia (1997). PhD studies in Botany (1999-2001), Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Woody Plant Ecology (2022-present) at the Botanical Garden, Russian Academy of Sciences, Ural Branch, in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia. Research interests in systematics of the genus Salix, plant introduction, and breeding. Author and co-author of more than 45 scientific publications.
