Erst Anna Alekseevna, born 15 April, 1983 in the city of Barnaul, Altai Krai, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from the Altai State University (ASU), Faculty of Biology, with a specialty in Biology, qualification Biologist (2005), PhD studies in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at ASU (2010), in the city of Barnaul, Altai Krai, Russia. Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Botany (2010). PhD thesis: «Osobennosti Razmnozheniya Ribes aureum Pursh i Vaccinium uliginosum L. v Kul’ture in vitro» (Specifics of Propagation of Ribes aureum Pursh and Vaccinium uliginosum L. in vitro), Novosibirsk, Central Sib. Bot. Garden, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., 2010 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Biotechnology, Central Sib. Bot. Garden, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., in the city of Novosibirsk, Russia (2010-present). Scientific interests in the study of plant morphogenesis in vitro, the development of methods for the preservation of rare and endemic plants in vitro collections, the study of methods for enhancing the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites of medicinal plants in the hairy root cultures. Author and co-author of more than 40 scientific publications, including two patents for the inventions.
