Giryaev Mikhail Dmitrievich
Giryaev Mikhail Dmitrievich, born 11 September, 1948 in the village of Zhelannoe, Shatsky District, Ryazan Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Moscow Institute of Forest Technology (MIFT) (in 1993 MIFT renaimed to Moscow State University of Forest (MSUF), in 2016 MSUF reorganized to Mytishchinski Branch of N. E. Bauman Moscow State University of Technology), Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Faculty of Forestry, Forest Industry Technology, and Landscape Development), with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Mytishchi, Moscow Oblast, Soviet Union (1971). Candidate (PhD, 1997) and Doctor (DSc, 2004) of Agricultural Sciences in Forest Planning and Forest Inventory. PhD thesis: «Obosnovanie Form Organizatsii Lesopolzovaniya v Sovremennykh Usloviyakh» (Substantiation of the Forms of Organization of Forest Use in Contemporary Conditions), Mytishchi, Moscow Oblast, Moscow For. Tech. Inst., 1996 (in Russian). DSc thesis: «Printsipy i Metody Organizatsii Ustoychivogo Lesopolzovaniya v Rossiyskoy Federatsii» (Principles and Methods of Organizing Sustainable Forest Use in the Russian Federation), Mytishchi, Moscow Oblast, Moscow St. Univ. For., 2004 (in Russian). Pensioner (2017-present). Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publications.
