Gorbunova (Bobushkina) Svetlana Valentinovna, born 3 August, 1987, in the city of Arkhangelsk, Arkhangelsk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Arkhangelsk State University of Technology (at the present time – Lomonosov Northern (Arctic) Federal University), Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Higher School of Natural Sciences and Technologies), with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Arkhangelsk, Russia (2009). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Crops, Selection, Seed Growing (2015). PhD thesis: «Intensivnost’ Rosta i Razvitiya Seyantsev Sosny s Zakrytoy Kornevoy Sistemoy pri Raznykh Rezhimakh Vyrashchivaniya dlya Lesovosstanovleniya v Arkhangel’skoy Oblasti», Arkhangelsk (The Intensity of Growth and Development of Pine Seedlings with a Closed Root System under Different Growing Conditions for Reforestation in Arkhangelsk Oblast), Arkhangelsk, Lomonosov Northern (Arctic) Fed. Univ., 2014 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Taiga Ecosystems and Biodiversity, Northern Research Institute of Forestry, in the city Arkhangelsk, Russia (2014-present).
