Heinzmann Bernd

Heinzmann Bernd, born, in the city of …, Austria. Graduated from Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, study program Forest Products Technology and Timber Construction, with BSc in Forest Products Technology, in the city of Salzburg, Austria (2012), PhD studies in Wood Science and Technology at the Faculty of Wood Sciences, the University of West Hungary (since 2017 – University of Sopron), with PhD in Wood Science and Technology (2017), in the city of Sopron, Hungary. Due to family business has an extensive experience in the primary wood processing at industrial size being able to run and optimize modern sawmills. Research interests in log and timber inline non-destructive measurements, sawing equipment, logistic for massive wood half products, superior use of wood bark like in pallet blocks (own registered mark for Germany). Reached an impressive career as a ski jumper in Europe continuing the sportive performances of his grandfather and father. Author and co-author of more than 10 scientific publications.
