Ivanov Alexander Vital’evich

Ivanov Alexander Vital’evich, born 5 April, 1960 in the village of Bolshoi Aksu, Uygur District, Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. Graduated from Kazakh Agricultural Institute (at the present time – Kazakh National Agrarian University) Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Faculty of Forest, Land Resources and Horticulture), with a specialty in Forestry and qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan (1982). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Crops, Breeding, Seed Growing, and City Greenery (1992). PhD thesis: «Introduksciya Duglasii v Priissykkul’e» (Introduction of Douglas Fir in Issyk-Kul Region), Almaty, 1992, (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Forest Crops, Institute of Forest Named after P. A. Gan, National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic in the city of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Associate Professor in Forestry and Forest Crops for the Department of Ecology and Forestry, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Ecology and Physical Culture Issyk-Kul’ State University Named after K. Tynystanov in the city of Karakol, Kyrgyzstan. Research interests in study biodiversity of spruce forests of the Tian_Shan. Author and co-author of more than 20 scientific publications. Some of them: «Sovremennoe sostoyanie elovykh lesov Kyrgyzstana» (Current status of spruce forests in Kyrgyzstan), Almaty, 2000 (in Russian with English abstract); «Ekologicheskie aspekty lesovosstanovleniya i lesorazvedeniya v severnom Kyrgyzstane» (Environmental aspects of reforestation and afforestation in Northern Kyrgyzstan) In «Vestnik Kazakhskogo Natsionalnogo Universiteta.
