Kalachev Andrey Alexandrovich, born 24 January 1975, in the settlement of Glubokoye, Glubokoe District, East Kazakhstan Region, Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic (since 1991 – Republic of Kazakhstan) (former Soviet Union). Graduated from Kazakh State Agrarian University (since 2001 – Kazakh National Agrarian University), Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Faculty of Water, Land and Forest Resources), with a specialty in Forestry and Park Management, qualification Engineer of Forestry and Park Management, in the city of Almaty, Almaty Region, Republic of Kazakhstan (1997). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science and Silviculture, Forest Fires and Fire Fighting (2001), Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (DSc) in Forest Science, Silviculture, Forest Planning and Forest Inventory, Agro-Forest Melioration, Protective Afforestation and Settlement Greening, Forest Fires and Fire Fighting (2017). PhD thesis: «Rol’ Berezy v Lesoobrazovatel’nom Protsesse v Pikhtarnikakh Rudnogo Altaya» (The Role of Birch in Forest Forming Process in Fir Stands of Rudny Altai), Алматы, Казах. нац. агр. ун-т, Almaty, Kazakh Nat.
