Research interests in mathematical modeling in biology. Main directions: 1) Theory of heterogeneous models of populations and communities with applications to mathematical genetics, forest ecology, global demographics, modeling of cancer, models of populations’ deaths; 2) replicator dynamics and patterns of early biological evolution; 3) stochastic models of population dynamics; 4) theory of multi-dimensional structural models of populations and its application to the hierarchical models of complex systems.
