Kirichenko Natal’ya Ivanovna, born … 1977, in the settlement of TamtachetTayshetsky DistrictIrkutsk OblastSoviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Krasnoyarsk State University (in 2006 KSU being included to Sib. Fed. Univ.), Faculty of Biology, with a specialty in Biology, qualification Biologist, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia (1999). Candidate (PhD, 2002), and Doctor (DSc, 2021) of Biological Sciences in Ecology (Biology). PhD thesis: «Eksperimental’noe Izuchenie Zakonomernostey Pitaniya i Rosta Gusenits Sibirskogo Shelkopryada» (Experimental Study of the Patterns of Feeding and Growth of Caterpillars of the Siberian Silk Moth), KrasnoyarskV. PI and Co-PI for a numerous research projects, supported by the national funds (Fund of President of the Russian Federation, Russian Foundation for Basic Research, Rus. Acad. Sci.). Taken part in various European Union programs (EU FP6, FP7 projects, COST Action). Postdoc fellow and an invited researcher in leading European research centers. Reviewing for a number ISI journals. Deputy coordinator of the 7.03.07 Working Party «Population Dynamics of Forest Insects» (subdivision 7 «Forest Health») at the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) (2010-present). Member of several international scientific societies and a guest expert of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA, Italy) and the European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO, France). Author and co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed papers, one book, and five chapters in the collective monographs, and given more than 120 talks on national and international conferences. She has published a series of important papers on the Siberian moth (Dendrolimus sibiricus), a dangerous coniferous pest in North Asia.
