Klimov Andrey Vladimirovich

Klimov Andrey Vladimirovich, born 08 December 1977 in the urban-type settlement of Chornomorske, Chornomorske Raion, Crimean Oblast (since 18 March, 2014 – Republic of Crimea), Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Novokuznetsk State Pedagogical Institute (later renaimed to Кuzbas State Pedagogical Academy (KSPA), in 2014 KSPA reorganized to Novokuznetsk Institute (Branch) of Kemerovo State University), with a specialty in Geography, in the city of Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo Oblast, Russia (2000), PhD studies in Botany at the Central Siberian Botanical Garden Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., in the city of Novosibirsk, Russia (2007). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Botany (2008). PhD thesis: «Topolniki Poimy Reki Tomi: Taksonomicheskii Sostav, Polimorfizm, Estestvennaya Gibridizasciya» (Poplar Forests of Tom' River Flood-Plain: Taxonomic Composition, Polymorphism, Natural Hybridization), Novosibirsk, Centr. Sib. Bot. Garden, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., 2008 (in Russian). Vice-Director on scientific research for «InEcAConsulting» Ltd., in the city of Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo Oblast, Russia. Research interests in dendrology, introduction of tree species, flora. Author and coauthor of more than 65 scientific publications.
