Kopytkov Vladimir Vasil’evich

Kopytkov Vladimir Vasil’evich, born 29 July, 1956 in the village of Vishensky, Gomel District, Gomel Region, Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic (since 1992 – Republic of Belarus) (former Soviet Union). Graduated from the Francis Skorina Gomel State University, Faculty of Biology, with a specialty in Biology, qualification Teacher of Biology and Chemistry, in the city of Gomel, Byelorussian Sov. Soc. Rep. (1982). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD, 1986), and Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (DSc, 2017), in Forest Crops, Breeding and Seed Production (2017). PhD thesis: «Vliyanie Medlenno Deystvuyushchikh Udobreniy na Prirost Sosnovykh Nasazhdeniy i Zagryaznenie Sredy» (The Influence of Slow-Acting Fertilizers on the Growth of Pine Stands and Environmental Pollution), Gomel, Belarusian For. Res. Inst. (at the present time – Inst. For., Nat. Acad. Sci. Belarus), 1986. DSc thesis: «Resursosberegayushchie Tekhnologii Vyrashchivaniya Posadochnogo Materiala i Sozdaniya Lesnykh Kul’tur v Belarusi s Ispol’zovaniem Kompozitsionnykh Materialov» (Resource-Saving Technologies for Growing Planting Material and Creating Forest Crops in Belarus Using Composite Materials), Bryansk, Bryansk St. Univ. The main directions of scientific research in the field of reforestation and afforestation. Author and co-author of more than 400 scientific publications, including 4 books, 30 copyright certificates and patents for inventions.
