Kuz’mina Nadezhda Petrovna, born 8 May 1982, in the village of Asyma, Gorny Ulus (District), Yakut ASSR (since 27 December 1991 – Republiс of Sakha (Yakutia), Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Yakutsk State University (at the present time – North-Eastern Federal University), Faculty of Biology and Geography (at the present time – Inst. Nat. Sci.), Department of General Biology, with specialization in Microbiology, qualification Biologist, in the city of Yakutsk, Sakha Republic, Russia (2004). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Ecology and Microbiology (2010). PhD thesis: «Mikrobiotsenozy Alasnykh i Antropogenno Transformirovannykh Pochv Tsentral’noy Yakutii» (Microbiocenoses of Alas and Anthropogenically Transformed Soils of Central Yakutia), Ulan-Ude, Buryat St. Univ., 2010 (in Russian). Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Genesis and Ecology of Soil-Plant Cover (organized in 2016 on the base of Laboratories: Biology of Meadow Plants, Genesis of Soils and Radioecology, and Population Botany), Institute for Biological Problems of Cryolite Zone, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., Fed. Res. Center Yakutsk Sci. Center, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., in the city of Yakutsk, Sakha Republic, Russia (2010-present). Specialist in soil microbiology of permafrost landscapes. Author and co-author of more than 40 scientific publications.
