Lipatkin Vladimir Alexandrovich

Lipatkin Vladimir Alexandrovich, born 5 March 1956, in the town of Stupino, Moscow Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Moscow Institute of Forest Engineering (MIFE) (in 1993 MIFE renaimed to Moscow State Forest University (MSFU), in 2016 MSFU reorganized to Mytischi Branch of Bauman Moscow State Technical University), Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Faculty of Forestry, Forest Industry Technology, and Landscape Development), with a specialty in Forestry, and qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Mytishchi, Moscow Oblast, Soviet Union (1978). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Entomology. PhD thesis: «Ekologicheskie Osobennosti i Chislennost’ Nasekomykh-Ksilofagov Khvoynykh Porod v Izbytochno-Plotnykh i Razrezhennykh Populyatsiyakh» (Ecological Features and Abundance of Insects-Xylophages of Coniferous Species in Excessively Dense and Sparse Populations), Voronezh, G. F. Morozov Voronezh For. Engineer. Inst. (at the present time – G. F. Morozov Voronezh State Univ. For. & Technol.), 1985 (in Russian). Head for the Department of Silviculture, Ecology and Forest Protection, Faculty of Forestry, Forest Industry Technology, and Landscape Development, Mytischi Branch of the Bauman Moscow State University of Engineering, in the city of Mytishchi, Moscow Oblast, Russia (2018-present). Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation (2012). Scientific interests in forest ecology, forest protection, forest entomology, dendrochronology. Author and co-author of more than 90 scientific publications.
