Murzakmatov Rysbek Tobokelovich, born 17 November, 1962 in the village of Chaek, Jumgal District, Naryn Region, Kyrgyzstan. Graduated from Biysk Technical School of Forestry with a specialty in Forestry and qualification Technician-Forester, in the city of Biysk, Biysky District, Altai Krai, Russia (1985), the Siberian Institute of Technology (SibIT) (in 1997 SibIT renaimed to Siberian State University of Technology (SibSUT), in 2016 SibSUT affiliated to Academician M. F. Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology), Faculty of Forestry (in 2017 Faculty of Forestry included to the Institute of Forest Technologies), with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia (1992). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Planning and Forest Inventory (2007). PhD thesis: «Vyborochno-Statisticheskiy Metod Inventarizatsii Lesov Kyrgyzstana» (Selective-Statistical Method of Forest Inventory in Kyrgyzstan), Krasnoyarsk, Sib. St. Univ. Technol., 2007 (in Russian). Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Technogenic Forest Ecosystems at V. N. Sukachev Inst. For., Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., Fed. Res. Center Krasnoyarsk Sci. Center, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Russia (2009-present). Specialist in remote sensing methods of forest survey, ecological monitoring and modeling of forest ecosystems. PI and CoPI of 3 Russian and international scientific projects on monitoring and biospheric functions of Siberian forests, and on sustainable forest use. The participant of two RFBR grants. Author and co-author of more than 40 scientific publications, including 6 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 21 publications in the proceedings of international scientific conferences, patent for an invention.
