Nedorezov Lev Vladimirovich, born 25 October 1951, dead 08.12.2019 in the city of St. Petersburg. Graduated from the Novosibirsk State University, Department of Mechanics and Mathematics (1974). Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in Biophysics (1990), Full Professor in Differential Equations (1998), Head for the Department of Analysis and Modeling of Ecosystem Dynamics at Research Center for INterdisciplinary ENvironmental COoperation INENCO, Russian Academy of Sciences, in the city of St. Petersburg (2010). Specialist in ecological modeling and biological statistics. During several years worked abroad: International Center of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE) in Nairobi, Kenya (2002-2004); University of Nova Gorica in Slovenia (2012-2013). Author of more than 200 scientific publications including 11 books and textbooks. More than 100 papers published in peer-reviewed journals as: «Zhurnal Obschei Biologii» (Biol. Bull. Rev.), «Biofizika» (Biophysics), «Ecol. Model.», «J. Theor. Biol.» etc.
