Otmakhov Yuriy Sergeevich, born 27 August, 1976 in the city of Omsk, Omsk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Omsk State Agrarian University named after P. A. Stolypin, Faculty of Agrarian Technologies, with a specialty in Agronomy, qualification Scientist-Agronomist, in the city of Omsk, Russia (2001). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Botany (2009). PhD thesis: «Biologicheskie Osobennosti Schizonepeta multifida (L.) Briq. i S. annua (Pall.) Schischk. v Prirode i Introduktsii» (Biological Specifics of Schizonepeta multifida (L.) Briq. and S. annua (Pall.) Schischk. in Nature and Introductions), Novosibirsk, Central Sib. Bot. Garden, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., 2009 (in Russian). Leading Engineer for the Laboratory of Ecology and Geobotany, Central Sib. Bot. Garden, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., in the city of Novosibirsk, Russia. Specialist in geobotany, geobotanical mapping, landscape ecology, geoinformation analysis. Participant of national Russian and international research projects related to the study of the variability of coniferous species of woody plants.
