Pristova Tat’yana Alexandrovna, born 12 December, 1973 in the village of Vizinga, Sysolsky district, Komi Republic, Russia. Graduated from Syktyvkar State University, Faculty of Chemistry and Biology (at the present time – Institute of Natural Sciences), with a specialty in Biology, qualification Teacher of Biology and Chemistry, in the city of Syktyvkar, Komi Republic, Russia (1995), PhD studies in Ecology at the Department of Forest Biological Problems of the North, Institute of Biology, Komi Republic Scientific Centre, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in the city of Syktyvkar, Komi Republic, Russia (1998). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Ecology (2003). PhD thesis: «Biologicheskiy Krugovorot Azota i Zol’nykh Elementov v Listvenno-Khvoynom Nasazhdenii Podzony Sredney Taigi» (Biological Cycle of Nitrogen and Ashy Elements in Deciduous-Coniferous Stands of the Middle Taiga Subzone), Syktyvkar, Inst. Biol., Komi Rep. Sci. Centre, Ural Br., Rus. Acad. Sci., 2003 (in Russian). Research Scientist (since 2003 to present time) for the Department of Forest Biological Problems of the North, Institute of Biology, Komi Republic Scientific Centre, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in the city of Syktyvkar, Komi Republic, Russia. Research interests in biological productivity, carbon cycle and elements of mineral nutrition in deciduous forest of the taiga zone, water migration of elements. Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publications.
