Purevragchaa Battulga

Purevragchaa Battulga, born 14 March 1976, in the sum of Khairkhan, Arkhangai Province, Mongolia. Graduated from the National University of Mongolia, Faculty of Biology (at the present time – Department of Environment and Forest Engineering, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences), with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (1998). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science (2013). PhD thesis: «Specifics of Growth and Regeneration of Larch Forests in Mongolian Altai, Mongolia», Ulaanbaatar, Nat. Univ. Mongolia, 2013 (in Mongolian). Research Scientist for the Sector of Forest Resources and Forest Protection, Institute of Geography and Geoecology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences, in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (1999-present). Research interests in forest inventory, study forest dynamics and natural regeneration. PI and Co-PI for a numerous national and international scientific research projects and grants on study forest ecosystems’ dynamics, restoration of degraded forest ecosystems in Mongolia. Author and co-author of more than 60 scientific publications.
