Ryss Alexander Yur’evich

Ryss Alexander Yur’evich, born in the town of Zmeinogorsk Zmeinogorsky District, Altai Krai, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Leningrad University named after A. A. Zhdanov (at the present time – St. Petersburg St. Univ.), Faculty of Biology and Soil (at the present time – Faculty of Biology), Department of Zoology of Invertebrates, with a specialty in Zoology/Entomology, qualification Biologist, specialization in Zoology/Entomology, in the city of Leningrad (06 Sept., 1991 Leningrad renaimed to St. Petersburg), Soviet Union (1976). Candidate (PhD, 1983), and Doctor (DSc, 2009) of Biological Sciences in Zoology. PhD thesis: «Kornevye Paraziticheskie Nematody Semeystva Pratylenchidae i Voprosy Evolyutsii Nadsemeystva Hoplolaimoidea» (Root Parasitic Nematodes of the Family Pratylenchidae and the Evolution of the Superfamily Hoplolaimoidea), Zool. Inst. USSR Acad. Sci. (at the present time – Zool. Inst. Rus. Acad. Sci.,Leningrad, 1983 (in Russian).
