Savchenkova Vera Alexandrovna, born 19 October 1965, in the city of Smolensk, Smolensk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Bratsk State University of Technology (since 2004 – Bratsk State University), Timber Industry Faculty, with a specialty in Forest Engineering, qualification Engineer of Forest Industry (2001), PhD studies in the technology and machines of logging and forestry at Bratsk State University (2005), in the city of Bratsk, Irkutsk Oblast, Russia. Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD) in Technology and Machines of Logging and Forestry (2006), Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (DSc) in Forest Science, Silviculture, Forest Planning and Forest Inventory (2012), Associate Professor. PhD thesis: «Sovershenstvovanie Tekhnologii Lesosechnykh Rabot s Sokhraneniem Podrosta pri Mashinnoy Zagotovke Lesa v Usloviyakh Srednego Priangar’ya» (Improving Technology of Logging Operations with Preservation of Undergrowth with Machine Harvesting in the Conditions of Middle Priangar’e), Bratsk, Bratsk St. Univ., 2005 (in Russian).
