Sedel’nikov Mikhail Valer’evich

Sedel’nikov Mikhail Valer’evich, born 14 December 1983, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Krasnoyarsk State University (KSU) (in 2006 KSU being included to Siberian Federal University), Faculty of History, with a specialty in History, qualification Historian, Teacher of History, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia (2006). Candidate of Philosophical Sciences (PhD) in Social Philosophy (2012). PhD thesis: «Vzaimovliyanie politicheskogo rezhima i nauchno-tekhnicheskogo progressa: sotsial’no-filosofskiy analiz» (Interaction Between the Political Regime and Scientific and Technological Progress: Socio-Philosophical Analysis), Krasnoyarsk, Sib. Fed. Univ., 2012 (in Russian). Associate Professor for the Department of Philosophy, School for the Humanities, Siberian Federal University, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia (2016-present). Scientific interests in social and political philosophy, history and philosophy of science and technology, philosophical problems of natural science knowledge (biology, chemistry, physics), evolution of scientific and technological progress as a factor in the development of modern civilization, assessment of the effectiveness of the interdependence of science and the political system in Russia and the world, paradigm of relations between public authorities and the scientific community in the context of social and technological development.
