A. Zhdanov Leningrad State University (at the present time – St. Petersburg State University), DSc studies in Entomology at Zoological Institute Rus. Acad. Sci., in the city of Leningrad/St. Petersburg, Soviet Union/Russia. Candidate (PhD, 1985), and Doctor (DSc, 1994) of Biological Sciences in Entomology.
