Semerikov Vladimir Leonidovich

Semerikov Vladimir Leonidovich, born 25 December 1962. Graduated from the Ural Forest Technical Institute (at the present time Ural Forest Engineering University) Faculty of Forestry (1985) (at the present time Institute of Forest and Nature Management) in Sverdlovsk (at the present time Yekaterinburg). Doctor of Biological Sciences in Botany (2006), Head for the Laboratory of Molecular Ecology of Plants at the Institute of Plant and Animal Ecology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Ural Branch. Research interests in phylo- and biogeography, population genetics, genetic backgrounds for the adaptation of plant species. PI and Co-PI for the research projects of the RFBR.
