Semerikova (Pryamonosova) Svetlana Alexandrovna, born … Graduated from M.A. Gorki Ural State University (USU) Faculty of Biology with a specialty in Biology (1988) in Sverdlovsk (4 September 1991 the city regained its historical name Yekaterinburg), Russia (former USSR) (12 May 2011 USU has been affiliated to Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B. N. Eltsin). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Botany (2008), Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Molecular Ecology of Plants at the Institute of Plant and Animal Ecology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Ural Branch (2009). Research interests in molecular biology, molecular phylogeny and systematics, evolution and biogeography of plants, phylogeography, population genetics of coniferous, population dynamics, hybridization processes, endemic and protected plant species.
