Shashkin Alexander Vladimirovich
Shashkin Alexander Vladimirovich, born 09 July 1948, in the city of Omsk, Omsk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Krasnoyarsk State University (KSU) (in 2006 KSU being included to Siberian Federal University), Faculty of Physics (at the present time – School of Engineering Physics and Radio Electronics, Siberian Federal University), Department of Biophysics, with a specialty in Biophysics, and qualification Physicist, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Soviet Union (1970). Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (PhD) in Biophysics (1984). PhD thesis: «Тeoreticheskiy Analiz Struktury i Chislennosti Populyatsii Eritrotsitov Krovi» (Theoretical Analysis of Structure and Numbers of Blood Erythrocyte Populations), Krasnoyarsk, Inst. Byophys. Sib. Br. USSR Acad. Sci. (at the present time – Inst. Biophys. Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br.), 1984 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Tree Ring Structure V. N. Sukachev Inst. For., Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., Fed. Res. Center Krasnoyarsk Sci. Center, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Russia (2023-present). PI and Co-PI for a numerous national and international research projects, supported by grants of the: RFBR, FTP, SB RAS, KTSF. Research interests in modeling ecological systems. Author and co-author of more than 70 scientific publications.
