Sheremetova Svetlana Anatol’evna, born 28 April 1962, in the city of Frunze (on 5 February 1991, by decision of the Supreme Council of the Kirghiz SSR, the city of Frunze was renamed into the city of Bishkek), Kirghiz SSR (since 31 August 1991 – Kyrgyz Republic). Graduated from Tomsk St. Univ. (at the present time – Nat. Res. Tomsk St. Univ.), Fac. Biol. Soils (at the present time – Inst. Biol., Ecol., Soil Sci., Agr. and For. (Inst. Biol.)), with a specialty in Biology, qualification Biologist, Teacher of Biology and Chemistry, in the city of Tomsk, Tomsk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia) (1986). Candidate (PhD, 1991) and Dr (DSc, 2016) of Biological Sciences in Botany, Associate Professor for the Department of Botany (1999). PhD thesis: «Stepnaya Flora Basseyna r. Chuya (Gorny Altai)» (Steppe Flora of the Chuya River Basin (Mountain Altai)) (Botany), Tomsk, Tomsk St. Univ. named after V. V. Kuybyshev (at the present time – Nat. Res. Tomsk St. Univ., 1991 (in Russian). DSc thesis: «Flora Basseyna Reki Tom’: Sostav, Struktura, Transformatsiya, Prostranstvennaya Organizatsiya» (Flora of the Tom River Basin: Composition, Structure, Transformation, Spatial Organization (Botany), Tomsk, Nat. Res. Tomsk St. Univ., 2016 (in Russian). Chief Research Scientist, Head for the Department of Herbarium, Kuzbas Botanical Garden, Institute of Human Ecology, Fed. Res. Center for Coal and Coal Chemistry, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br. (2017-present), Professor for the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Kuzbass State Agricultural University (2022-present), in the city of Kemerovo, Kemerovo Oblast, Russia. Research interests in study flora of vascular plants, biogeography of rare, endangered and invasive plant species. Author and co-author of more than 150 scientific publications.
