Shevelev Sergey Leonidovich, born 19 July, 1948 in the city of Achinsk, Achinsky District, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from the Order of the Red Banner of Labour Siberian Institute of Technology (SibIT) (in 1997 SibIT renaimed to Siberian State University of Technology (SibSUT), in 2016 SibSUT affiliated to Reshetnev Sib. St. Univ. Sci. Technol.), Faculty of Forestry, with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Soviet Union (1971). Candidate (PhD, 1977), and Doctor (DSc, 1998) of Agricultural Sciences in Forest Planning and Forest Inventory. PhD thesis: «Vozrastnaya Struktura, Razvitie i Kachestvennoe Sostoyanie Drevostoev Prostoy Subformatsii Duba Mongol'skogo Srednego Priamur'ya» (Age Structure, Development and Quality Condition of the Mongolian Oak Tree Stands of Simple Subformation in the Middle Priamurye), Krasnoyarsk, Sib.
