Sidor Alexander Ilyich

Sidor Alexander Ilyich, born 24 November 1955 in Drapovtsy village, Zel’va District, Grodno Region, Republic of Belarus. Graduated from S. M. Kirov Belarus Institute of Technology in Minsk (1981) (at the present time - Belarus State Technological University) Forestry Faculty in Minsk. Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor in Forest Plantations, Selection and Seed Growing (1992). PhD thesis: «Development of Methods for Increasing Fructification of a Coniferous Tree Species on Forest Seed Plantations». Leading Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Forest Selection and Seed Farming at the Institute of Forest, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Research interests in forest selection and seed farming, plant introduction. Author and co-author of more than 100 scientific publications.
