Skorokhodov Sergey Nikolaevich, born 10 September, 1959, in the village of Itkara, Yashkinsky District, Kemerovo Oblast. Graduated from Tomsk State University (at the present time – National Research Tomsk State University), Faculty of Biology and Soils (at the present time – Institute of Biology, Ecology, Soil Science, Agriculture and Forestry (Institute of Biology)), Department of Botany, in the city of Tomsk, Tomsk Oblast, Russia (1983). Leading Engineer for the Laboratory of Ecosystem Dynamics and Sustainability at the Institute of Monitoring of Climatic and Ecological Systems, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, in the city of Tomsk, Tomsk Oblast, Russia (2000-present). Specialist in forest science, floristics, conservation of biological diversity, dynamics and stability of ecosystems. Author and co-author of more than 70 papers and 2 books.
