Skrobala Viktor Mikhailovich, born 11 October 1965 in the urban type settlement of Zolotyj Potik, Buchach Raion, Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine (former Soviet Union). Graduated from Lviv Institute of Forest Engineering (at the present time – Ukrainian National Forestry University), Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Institute of Forestry and Park and Garden Management), Department of Forest Inventory and Forest Management, with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Lviv, Ukraine (1990). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Crops, Selection, Seed Growing, and City Greening (1996). PhD thesis: «Vpliv Fitotsenoticnoi Strukturi Miskikh Nasazhden’ na Gidrologichniy Rezhim ta Spovilnennya Eroziynikh Protsesiv» (Influence of Phytocenotic Structure of City Stands on Hydrological Regime and Retardation of Erosion Processes), 1996 (in Ukrainian). Associate Professor for the Department of Landscape Architecture, Gardening and Urban Ecology, Institute of Forestry and Park and Garden Management, Ukrainian National Forestry University, in the city of Lviv, Ukraine (2006-present). Research interests in phytoindication, forest typology, study multidimensional ordination of vegetation cover. Author and co-author of more than 30 scientific publications.
