Sopin Vladimir Yurievich, born 20 March 1959. Graduated from Irkutsk Agricultural Institute (at the present time – Irkutsk State Agrarian University named after A. A. Ezhevsky), Faculty of Biology (at the present time – Institute of Natural Resources Management), Department of Game Management (at the present time – Faculty of Wildlife Management) (1984). Senior Research Scientists for Tungussky State Nature Reserve (2007). Specialist in phenology, animal and plant ecology, conservation of biological diversity. Author and co-author of more than 10 papers. Some of them: «Meteorological characteristic of the «Tungussky» nature reserve area», 2008 (in Russian); «Faktory i Potenscialnye Ugrozy Negativnogo Vozdeistviya na Prirodnye Kompleksy i Ob’ekty Territorii Gosudarstvennogo Prirodnogo Zapovednika «Tungussky» (Sources and possible threats of negative impacts to natural complexes and objects of the state natural reserve «Tungussky» area), 2012 (in Russian); «Rare species of predatory birds of state natural reserve «Tungussky» and neighbor areas of south-east Evenkia», 2015 (in Russian).
