Speranskaya Natal’ya Yur’evna, born 01 November 1977, in the city of Barnaul, Altai Krai, Russia. Graduated from Altai St. Univ., Faculty of Biology (at the present time – Inst. Biol. & Biotechnol.), with a specialty in Biology, qualification Biologist, in the city of Barnaul, Altai Krai, Russia. Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Botany (2008). PhD thesis: «Sostav i Zhiznennoe Sostoyanie Drevesnykh Nasazhdeniy Goroda Barnaula» (Composition and Assessment of the Vital State of Woody Stands in the City of Barnaul), Barnaul, Altai St. Univ., 2007 (in Russian). Associate Professor for the Department of Botany, Inst. Biol. & Biotechnol., Altai St. Univ., in the city of Barnaul, Altai Krai, Russia (2013-present). Scientific interests in the study of urban woody flora and its condition, dynamics of rare plant species populations, phytolith analysis. Author and co-author of more than 105 scientific publications.
