Tsandekova Oksana Leonidovna, born 18 October 1970, in a town of Mariinsk, Kemerovo Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Kemerovo State University, Faculty of Biology (at the present time – Institute of Biology, Ecology and Natural Resources), with a specialty in Biology, qualification Biologist, with a specialization in Genetics, in the city of Kemerovo, Kemerovo Oblast, Russia (1993). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Selection and Seed Production of Agricultural Plants (2005). PhD thesis: «Fiziologo-Biohimicheskaya Otsenka Golozernykh i Plenchatykh Yachmeney v Selektsii na Produktivnost’ i Kachestvo Zerna» (Physiological and Biochemical Evaluation of Bare-Grained and Scarious Barley in Breeding for Productivity and Grain Quality), Tyumen, Tyumen St. Agr. Acad. (at the present time – St. Agr. Univ. Northern Cis-Urals), 2005 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Recultivation and Biomonitoring, Department Kuzbas Botanical Garden, Institute of Human Ecology, Fed. Res. Center for Coal and Coal Chemistry, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., in the city of Kemerovo, Kemerovo Oblast, Russia (2022-present). Research interests in ecology, biomonitoring of plants in the anthropogenic and technogenic environment, biodiagnostics of anthropogenic impacts on ecosystems, control of invasive plant species, conservation of biological diversity. Author and co-author of more than 140 scientific publications.
