Ufimtsev Vladimir Ivanovich

Ufimtsev Vladimir Ivanovich, born 26 May, 1982 in the city of Mezhdurechensk, Kemerovo Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Kemerovo State Agricultural Institute (at the present time – Kuzbass State Agricultural University), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, with a specialty in Agronomy, qualification Agronomist, in the city of Kemerovo, Kemerovo Oblast, Russia (2004). Candidate (PhD, 2012), and Doctor (DSc, 2023) of Biological Sciences in Ecology (Biology). PhD thesis: «Vliyanie Ekologicheskih Usloviy na Sostoyanie Nasazhdeniy Sosny Obyknovennoy (Pinus sylvestris L.) na Otvalah Kuzbassa» (Influence of Environmental Conditions on Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) at the Dumps of Kuznetsk Coal Basin), Tomsk, Nat. Res. Tomsk St. Univ., 2011 (in Russian). DSc thesis: «Endogenez Nasazhdeniy Pinus sylvestris L. na Otvalakh Kuzbassa» (Endoecogenesis of Pinus sylvestris L. stands on Kuzbass Waste Dumps), Tomsk, Nat. Res. Tomsk St. Univ., 2023 (in Russian). Cheaf Research Scientist, Head for the Laboratory of Recultivation and Biomonitoring (since 2017) in the Kuzbas Botanical Garden, Institute of Human Ecology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch (in 2015 Institute of Human Ecology included to Federal Research Center for Coal and Coal Chemistry, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br.), in the city of Kemerovo, Kemerovo Oblast, Russia. Research interests in plant ecology, anthropogenous transformation of ecosystems, reforestation, recultivation technologies. PI for research projects 14-04-31088 «Formation of Phytogenous Fields of a Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) on the Dumps of Coal Mining Industry», and 15-34-50459 «Phytoindication of the Pressure Zones of Natural-Technogenic Complexes of Kuzbas», supported by the RFBR grants. Author and co-author more than 110 scientific publications, patents of the Russian Federation for an inventions.
