Undraa Munkhuu

Undraa Munkhuu, born 7 April 1983 in Darkhan-Uul Province, Mongolia. Graduated from the National University of Mongolia, Faculty of Biology (at the present time – School of Engineering and Applied Sciences), Department of Forestry in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. MSc. in Biology and Forest Science from the National University of Mongolia (2008), MSc. in Environmental Sciences from the Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Tsukuba, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan (2013). Research Scientist for the Department of Forest Science at Institute of General and Experimental Biology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (since 2007). Author and co-author of 12 papers. Some of them: «Long-term monitoring of burnt larch forests of Tarvagatai Ranges in the Central Khangai», Ulaanbaatar, 2007 (in Mongolian); «The relationship between the diameter at breast height and at the height of the stump at the logged area», Ulaanbaatar, 2008 (in Mongolian); «The species composition and characteristics of flora in Shevertei valley, Gachuurt village», Ulaanbaatar, 2009 (in Mongolian); «The plant community change and regeneration of mezophyte herbs subtaiga larch forest affected by Gypsy moth in the Eastern Khentey in Mongolia», Ulaanbaatar, 2010 (in Mongolian); «Regeneration and plant community succession after conditional clear cutting and fire in mesophyte herbs subtaiga larch forest in the Eastern Khentey», Ulaanbaatar, 2014 (in Mongolian).
