Graduated from Moscow Institute of Forest Engineering (MIFE) (in 1993 MIFE renamed to Moscow State University of Forest (MSUF), in 2016 MSUF has been reorganized to Mytishchi Branch of Bauman Moscow State Technical University), Faculty of Forestry (at the present time – Faculty of Forestry, Forest Harvesting, Wood Processing Technologies and Landscape Architecture), with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Mytishchi, Mytishchinsky District, Moscow Oblast, Soviet Union (1976). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD, 1991), Senior Researcher in Ecology (2002). PhD thesis: «Vosstanovlenie Listvy Duba Chereshchatogo Posle Defoliatsii Kron Listogryzushchimi Nasekomymi» (Restoration of Oak Leaves after Crown Defoliation by Leaf-Eating Insects), Moscow, Inst.
