Vidyakin Anatolii Ivanovich
Vidyakin Anatolii Ivanovich, born 6 February 1948, deceased 10 July 2015. Graduated from the Ural Forest Technical Institute (at the present time – Ural Forest Engineering University) Faculty of Forestry (1973) (at the present time – Institute of Forest and Nature Management) in Sverdlovsk (at the present time – Yekaterinburg). Doctor of Biological Sciences in Ecology, Leading Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Biomonitoring at the Institute of Biology, Komi Republic Scientific Centre, Russian Academy of Sciences, Ural Branch. Research interests in genetics and population ecology, intraspecies variability, phenetics, phenogeography, population differentiation, genetic conservation, selection, seed growing, biological monitoring of woody plants. Author and co-author of more than 130 scientific publications, 3 monographs included. Some of them: «Spread of mitochondrial DNA haplotypes in population of scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) in northern European Russia» In «Rus. J. Genet.», 2012.
