Wang Xiuwei

Wang Xiuwei, born 10 January 1981 in the county of Qing’an, Heilongjiang province, People's Republic of China. Graduated from the Northeast Forestry University (NEFU), School of Forestry, with BSc in Forestry (2003), Key Laboratory of Forest Plant Ecology, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, with MSc in Botany (2006), and School of Forest Resources and Environment, with PhD in Botany (2009), in the city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province, China. Associate Professor for the School of Forestry at Northeast Forestry University in the city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province, China. PI and Co-PI for a numerous research projects related to forest ecology and ecophysiology, quantification of carbon stock in temperate forest, temporal and spatial variation in growth of white birch and its responses and adaptation to climate change in Northeastern China. Author and co-author of more than 30 scientific publications.
