Tsogt Zandraabal

Tsogt Zandraabal, born 17 February, 1955 in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Graduated from the Mongolian Agricultural Institute, Faculty of Forestry, with a specialty in Forestry, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (1978). PhD in Forest Science, Silviculture and Protective Forest Growing, Forest Fires and Fire Fighting (1993). Senior Research Scientist for the Department of Forest Science at Institute of General and Experimental Biology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Associate Professor for the Forest Science Department at the National University of Mongolia (2008), in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Supervisor for the Mongolian Part of the Joit Russian-Mongolian Complex Biological Expedition Russian Academy of Sciences, and Mongolian Academy of Sciences. PI, CoPI and advisor for more than 15 international research projects and grants on studying forest successions, biological productivity and sustainable use of Mongolian forests. Specialist in forest science, silviculture, forest planning and forest inventory. Author and co-author of more than 120 papers and 12 books.
