Dymov Alexey Alexandrovich
Dymov Alexey Alexandrovich, born 19 April, 1981, in the rural locality of Yakun'yol', Priluzsky District, Komi Republic, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Pitirim Sorokin Syktyvkar State University, Faculty of Chemistry and Biology (at the present time – Institute of Natural Sciences), with a specialty in Chemistry, qualification Chemist, in the city of Syktyvkar, Komi Republic, Russia (2003). Candidate (PhD, 2007), and Doctor (DSc, 2018) of Biological Sciences in Ecology and Soil Science. PhD thesis: «Izmenenie Pochv v Proscesse Estestvennogo Lesovosstanovleniya (na Primere Podzolov Srednei Taigi, Sformirovannykh na Dvuchlennykh Otlozeniyakh» (Change of Soils Through Natural Forest Regeneration (by the Example of Middle Taiga Podzols, Formed on Two-Term Deposits), Syktyvkar, 2007 (in Russian). DSc thesis: «Pochvy Poslerubochnykh, Postpirogennykh i Postagrogennykh Lesnykh Ekosistem Severo-Vostoka Evropeyskoy Chasti Rossii» (Soils of Post-Cutting, Post-Pyrogenic and Post-Agrogenic Forest Ecosystems in the Northeast of the European Part of Russia), Moscow, Lomonosov Moscow St. Univ., 2018 (in Russian). Leading Research Scientist for the Department of Soil Science, Institute of Biology, Komi Rep. Sci. Centre, Rus. Acad. Sci., Ural Br., in the city of Syktyvkar, Komi Republic, Russia (2018-present). Specialist in forest soil science and soil chemistry. PI for scientific projects related to the study of the effects of logging and fires on forest ecosystems of the European North of Russia.
