Tikhonova Irina Vasilievna. Graduated from Krasnoyarsk State University (KSU) Faculty of Biology, with a specialty in Biology (1985) (in 2006 KSU being included to Siberian Federal University). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Ecology (2000). PhD thesis: «Adaptatsiya Sosny Obyknovennoi (Pinus sylvestris L.) k Usloviyam Shirinskoi Stepi» (Adaptation of Common Pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) to the Conditions of Shira Steppe), Krasnoyarsk, 2000 (in Russian). Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Forest Genetics and Breeding at V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch. Specialist in population biology of tree plants, ecology, genetics, and forest science. Author and co-author of more than 70 papers.
