Astrakhantseva Natalia Vladimirovna, born 21 February 1972. Graduated from Krasnoyarsk State University (KSU), Faculty of Biology, with a specialty in Biology (1999) (in 2006 KSU being included to Siberian Federal University). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Botany and Ecology (2009). PhD thesis: «Zavisimost' Dykhaniya Stvola Sosny Obyknovennoi (Pinus sylvestris L.) ot Anatomicheskogo Stroeniya i Razvitiya Tkanei Ksilemy i Floemy» (The Dependence of Trunk Respiration of Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) by Anatomic Structure and Development of Xylem and Phloem Tissues), Krasnoyarsk, 2009 (in Russian). Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Physical and Chemical Biology of Woody Plants at V. N. Sukachev Institute of Forest, Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, where she works since 2008. Specialist in anatomy of the Pinaceae stem tissues, studying impact on the development and metabolism of xylem and phloem abiotic and biotic factors. Member of the Society of Physiologists of Russia (2015). Participated in more than 20 Russian national and international scientific conferences. Author and co-author of more than 40 scientific publications.
