Bender Olga Grigor’evna, born 04 January, 1965, in the city of Chimkent (since 08.09.1992 – Shymkent), South-Kazakhstan Oblast (at the present time – Turkistan Region), Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic (since 10 December 1991 – Republic of Kazakhstan – former Soviet Union. Graduated from Tomsk State University (at the present time – National Research Tomsk State University), Faculty of Biology and Soil (at the present time – Institute of Biology), Department of Botany, with a specialty in Biology, specialization in Plant Physiology, qualification Biologist, in the city of Tomsk, Tomsk Oblast, Soviet Union (1987). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Botany (2003). PhD thesis: «Morfo-Anatomicheskie i Ultrastrukturnye Kharakteristiki Khvoi Sosny Sibirskoy (Pinus sibirica Du Tour) v Gornom Altae» (Morpho-Anatomical and Ultrastructural Characteristics of the Siberian stone pine (Pinus sibirica Du Tour) Needles in Mountain Altai), Krasnoyarsk, V. N. Sukachev Inst. For., Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., 2003 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Dendroecology, Institute of Monitoring of Climatic and Ecological Systems, Rus.
