Bondarev Alexander Ivanovich, born 27 February 1958, in the city of Orsha, Vitebsk Oblast, Belorussian SSR (since 25 August 1991 – Republic of Belarus) (former Soviet Union). Graduated from S. M. Kirov Belarus Institute of Technology (at the present time – Belarusian State Technological University), Forestry Faculty, with a specialty in Forestry, qualification Engineer of Forestry, in the city of Minsk, Belorussian SSR (1980). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Planning and Forest Inventory (1995). PhD thesis: «Stroenie i Normativy Taksatsii Pritundrovykh Lesov Severo-Vostoka Krasnoyarskogo Kraya» (The Structure and Norms for Inventory of Near Tundra Forests in the North-East of Krasnoyarsk Krai), Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk St. Acad. Technol. (at the present time – Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology), 1995 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Laboratory of Forest and Soil Science, V. N. Sukachev Inst. For., Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., Fed. Res. Center Krasnoyarsk Sci. Center, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Russia (2015-present). Scientific interests in study structure and dynamics of forests of Arctic zone. Author and co-author of more than 70 scientific publications.
