Fodor Fanni, born 17 November, 1990 in the city of Miskolc, Miskolc District, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, Hungary. Graduated from the University of West Hungary (since 2017 – University of Sopron), Faculty of Wood Sciences, with BSc in Industrial Design Engineering (2013), and MSc in Timber Industry Engineering (2015), in the city of Sopron, Hungary. Research Assistant for the Faculty of Wood Sciences, University of Sopron, in the city of Sopron, Hungary (2019-present). PhD studies (2016-present) in acetylating under-utilized species, thus improving their usability. Special items in research: thermal and chemical modifications of wood, testing basic (physical, chemical, mechanical) and usage-related (colour, photostability, durability, gluability and surface-treatability) properties of modified wood. Author and co-author of 7 scientific publications.
