Gordeeva Galina Nikolaevna, born 29 March, 1968 in the urban type settlement of Ust-Abakan, Ust-Abakansky District, Republic of Khakassia, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Kemerovo State University, Faculty of Biology (at the present time – Institute of Biology, Ecology and Natural Resources), Department of Botany (at the present time – Department of Ecology and Nature Management), with a specialty in Biology, specialization in Botany, in the city of Kemerovo, Kemerovo Oblast, Soviet Union (1990). Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) in Botany. PhD thesis: «Biomorfologicheskie osobennosti i struktura tsenopopulyatsiy Festuca pseudovina Hackel ex Wiesb. v Khakasii» (Biomorphological Features and Structure of Festuca pseudovina Hackel ex Wiesb. Coenopopulations in Khakasia), Novosibirsk, Central Sib. Bot. Garden, Rus. Acad. Sci., Sib. Br., 2005 (in Russian). Senior Research Scientist for the Research Institute of Agricultural Problems of Khakasia, in the settlement of Zelenoe, Ust-Abakansky District, Republic of Khakassia, Russia (1992-present). Scientific interests in introduction of woody plants. Author and co-author of more than 40 scientific publications.
