Gurevich Yuriy Leonidovich, born 31 March 1941, in the city of Kemerovo, Kemerovo Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic Institute (at the present time – National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University), Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering (at the present time – School of Computer Science and Robotics), with a specialty in Automation and Computer Engineering, qualification Engineer of Automation and Computer Technologies, in the city of Tomsk, Tomsk Oblast, Soviet Union. Candidate (PhD, 1974), and Doctor (DSc, 1999) of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in Biophysics. PhD thesis: «Аanaliz i Razvitie Metodov Upravleniya Produktivnost’yu Periodicheskikh i Nepreryvnykh Protsessov Kul’tivirovaniya Mikroorganizmov» (Analysis and Development of Methods for Managing Productivity of Periodic and Continuous Processes for Cultivating Microorganisms), Krasnoyarsk, Kirensky Inst.
