Matveeva Alina Gennad’evna, born 31 August 1972, in the town of Svobodny, Amur Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Khabarovsk State University of Technology (at the present time – Pacific National University), Faculty of Engineers of Chemical-Forest Complex (at the present time – School of Ecology and Nature Management), with a specialty in Forest Engineering, qualification Engineer of Forest Technology, in the city of Khabarovsk, Khabarovsk Krai, Russia (1995). PhD studies in Silviculture at Far East Forestry Research Institute, in the city of Khabarovsk, Khabarovsk Krai, Russia (2006-2009). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Forest Science, Silviculture, Forest Fires and Fire Fighting (2009). PhD thesis: «Sovremennoe Sostoyanie i Perspektivy Ispol’zovaniya Pikhtovo-Elovykh Lesov Severnogo Sikhote-Alinya» (The Current State and Prospects of Using Fir-Spruce Forests of the Northern Sikhote-Alin), Ussuriysk, Primorsky St. Acad. Agr., 2009 (in Russian). Associate Professor for the Department of Forest Use Technologies and Landscape Construction, School of Ecology and Nature Management, Pacific National University, in the city of Khabarovsk, Khabarovsk Krai, Russia (2009-present). Scientific interests in study changes in the condition of the national forest fund, including changes under influence of climate change and forest fires. Author and co-author of more than 55 scientific publications.
