Noov Bayarsukh, born 25 December 1967, in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Graduated from the Mongolian State University of Agriculture (at the present time – Mongolian University of Life Sciences), Faculty of Agronomy (at the present time – School of Agroecology and Business), with a specialty in Agronomy, qualification Agronomist, in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (1990). Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Crop Production (2001). PhD thesis: «Mongol ulsyn gazar tarialangyn tөv bүsyn nөkhtsөld tosny maalingyn (Linum usitatissimum L.) sort shalgaruulakh, tarikh khugatsaa, үryn normyn sudalgaa » (Study of varieties, sowing time and sowing rates of oil flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) seeds in the conditions of the central agricultural zone of Mongolia), Ulaanbaatar, Mongol. St. Univ. Agr., 2001 (dissertation in Mongolian, thesis in Russian). Director for the Institute of Plant and Agricultural Science, School of Agroecology and Business, Mongolian University of Life Sciences, in the city of Darkhan, Darkhan-Uul Aimag, Mongolia (2013-present). Specialist in plant genetic resources and improvement of oil and legume crops. Author and co-author of more than 50 publications, including 5 books.
