Zang Chuanfu

Zang Chuanfu, born 5 April 1983, in the Inner Mongolia, the People's Republic of China. Graduated from the Beijing Forestry University, School of Soil and Water Conservation, with a specialty in Ecology and Land Use, qualification Engineer Ecologist (2010), PhD studies in Environmental Sciences at the same University (2013), in the city of Beijing, China. PhD thesis: «Assessment of Spatial and Temporal Variability of Green and Blue Water Flows in the Heikhe River Basin», Beijing, Beijing For. Univ., 2013. Associate Professor for the School of Geographical Sciences at South China Normal University, in the city of Guangzhou, Guangdong province, Southern China (2013-present). Director of the Field Scientific Observation and Research Station of the Han Jiang River in Guangdong province, China (2013-present). PI and Co-PI for more than 10 research projects, such as Project 973, National Natural Science Foundation of China Master Research Plan, National Key Research and Development Plan. Member of the Council of the Beijing Society for Environmental Restoration, National Innovation Alliance for Monitoring and Evaluating the Benefits of Environmental Engineering Forestry. Main scientific interests in hydrology and water resources, ecological geography and land use dynamics. Author and co-author of more than 35 scientific publications, including 1 monograph.
